Akhiri Peringatan Dini Tsunami Lombok Utara, BMKG : Masyarakat Tetap Waspada

Jakarta,Harnasnews.com – Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) resmi mengakhiri peringatan dini terhadap tsunami pukul 20.25 WIB, seusai gempa dengan magnitudo 7.0 mengguncang Lombok Utara, Minggu (5/8).

“Peringatan dini tsunami berakhir. Kami minta masyarakat untuk tidak lagi panik,” ungkap Kepala BMKG Pusat, Dwikorita Karnawati, Minggu (5/8).

Dwikorita memaparkan, sejak peringatan dini tsunami dikeluarkan BMKG telah terjadi tsunami kecil di tiga titik. Masing-masing di Desa Carik setinggi 13,5 cm, Desa Badas 10 cm, dan Desa Lembar 9 cm.
