Dalam pertemuan Coordination Meeting For The Asean-Japan Special Meeting Of Justice, bertempat di Ballroom Sofitel Nusa Dua, Bali, Selasa (30/05/2023). Pertemuan ini sebagai tindak lanjut draft Joint Statement (JS) dan Work Plan (WP) yang disampaikan oleh Jepang.
Dalam draf penyampaian JS dan WP, terdapat aspek-aspek tugas dan fungsi dari Direktorat Jenderal Administrasi Hukum Umum sehingga Ditjen AHU bersama Negara Anggota Asean Perlunya melaksanakan Coordination Meeting For The Asean-Japan Special Meeting Of Justice, untuk persiapan ASEAN-Japan Special Meeting of Justice Ministers (Pertemuan Khusus antara Menteri Bidang ASEAN-Jepang) pada tanggal 6-7 Juli 2023.
Hadir dalam agenda rapat persiapan tersebut ASLOM Leader seluruh negara anggota ASEAN (pejabat senior tingkat Eselon I); negara anggota antara lain oleh Cahyo Rahadian Muzhar (HoD) Ministry of Law and Human Rights Director General for Legal Administrative Affairs Indonesia, Mr. Irie Akira Ministry of Justice Attorney of the International Affairs Division Japan,
Senior Counsel, Head of International Affairs Division Brunei, Ms. Seri Atikah Junaidi (HoD),Ministry of Justice of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mr. Neak Seakirin (HoD), Mr. Khamphone Sipaseuth (HoD) Ministry of Justice, Lao PDR Department of International Cooperation, Attorney General’s Chambers, dan Ms. Nurashikin/binti Ismail (HoD) Attorney General’s Chambers Malaysia, Mr. Kyaw Kyaw Naing (HoD) Ministry of Legal Affairs Myanmar yang mengikuti secara virtual, Mr. Brigido J. Dulay (HoD) Department of Justice Philippines, Ms. Sarala Kumari Subramaniam (HoD) Ministry of Law Singapore, Ms. Atitaya Thongboon (HoD) Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Justice of Thailand Director of International Affairs Division, Ms. Duong Thien Huong (HoD) Ministry of Justice Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department Viet Nam, serta Mr. Nelinho Vital (HoD) Ministry of Justice República Democrática de Timor-Leste Director for National Legislation.
Dalam kesempatan itu, negara anggota Aslom Coordination Meeting On The Preparation Of The Asean-japan Special Meeting Of Justice Ministers (Ajsmj) And The ASEAN-G7 Justice Ministers’ Interface (Interface) mendapatkan kesempatan untuk bertemu melakukan agenda pembahasan secara bilateral.
